A lot of things inspire me to want to keep my marriage healthy and happy. One of them is meeting other wives who are making it work every day, and loving it! I knew quite a few before I said “I do”, and since Man Wife and Dog Blog was born I’ve met so many more. They’re all so fabulous I want you to meet them too. This week, meet event coordinator and wifey blogger Jordan from Wide Open Spaces!
The Wife: Jordan, 25
The Man: Chris, 31
But You Can Call Them: The Whits
How She Snagged Him: “We met at a bar and he persistently moved others aside to get the chance to talk to me, and it turns out we both knew that night that we had found the person we wanted to marry.”
Married Since: 3.19.10
Place They Call Home: “A little townhouse (for now) in Scottsdale, Arizona.”
How She Pays the Bills: Event Coordinator
How He Pays the Bills: Mortgage Banker
What Makes Her Man Hot: “His blue eyes, his great hugs, and his unwavering patience with me.”
A Wife Highlight: “I love having someone to come home to and share my day with, knowing that they will be there every day no matter what.”
A Wife Gripe: “I am much more organized than my other half so I’ve had to let go a little bit in that realm to avoid going crazy. I won’t even go into his snoring…”
Marriage Mantra: “It’s never too late to start the day over.”
The 2-Year Plan: “We hope to move into a bigger place soon and start a family of our own, aside from just our furry child.”
Wifey Wisdom: “Set a date night each week to make sure you reconnect and get back on the same page. Busy work schedules and hectic weeks can take it out of you, so it’s important to put each other back as a priority.”
