Aspargua ketchup tribute to turning 40 cute baby lawnmower

Hey everyone. As many of you may have noticed, I skipped Fab Posts Friday last week. (Crazy new job = So tired!) It’s not like me not to share the link love so this week’s a jam-packed edition. Enjoy! Here’s a roundup of the posts I saw this week and loved, and you will too. Remember: If you visit them, leave some comment love and tell ‘em I sent you! Happy Friday!

Ladies, did you know a man’s brain is made up of “little boxes”? I did not until I watched the hilarious video share in A Lil Laughter For You All over on Not So Single. A must watch for Friday!

Living blissfully child-free is how The Man and I roll right now BUT every single time I read Jelisa’s blog And They Lived Blogging Ever After it makes me want to hurry up and have a few little humans of my own. She and her husband had their first child this spring and their new series Things We’ll Someday Tell You is too sweet for words. Grab tissues, then go there. Love it!

Now I’ve said once before that my non-cooking self is still obsessed with reading the popular food blog Dinner, A Love Story all the time. This week she teaches all you wives who can cook how to make Chicken With Asparagus Ketchup. Um, YUM!

http://caramel-glamour.blogspot.com/2011/06/when-to-let-your-guard-down.html
When we get hurt we build walls, it’s normal. But, when love comes around, those very walls can act as gatekeepers and that’s not a good thing. If you can relate in any way, give When To Let Your Guard Down a read over on Caramel Glamour. Great message for the ladies!

I love blog homework? Don’t you? If so, go check out the latest writing assignment over on Blogging Dangerously called Write A Haiku. Here’s mine:

So should be in bed
Why the hell am I still up?
Is it Friday yet?

Yes, it’s that easy. Instructions on her blog. Go there, now!

http://trininista.blogspot.com/2011/06/danger-trip-into-trininistas-handbag.html
What’s in your handbag? My friend Trinista over at Life In Heels and Flip Flops asked her Facebook friends that question and then made a vlog about what’s in hers. You know I love a good blog, and you already know I like to keep a lot of crap in my bag (thanks to The Man’s recent vlog about why men fear our purses). So go watch her debag on Danger: A Trip Into a Trinista’s Handbag.

Calling all entrepreneurs: If you’re not reading Biz Talk With K you should be. I love her business ideas and this week’s Coupon Swipe Card Club idea is so bad ass! Wow, I wish I had three more days in the week to work with. Anyway, she’s great, the post is great, and the blog is great. Go check her out girls!

Someone recently requested I feature more women over 35 in Meet A Wife Mondays, and I will, just as soon as they start submitting for it. In the meantime, to show I don’t discriminate (I heart ALL wives!) here’s a link for the more mature bunch. Check out Fortylicious – To Being 40! over on Dating Diva Sites. It’s a great read whether you’re there or not, promise!

http://wildcatswife.com/2011/06/06/marriage-mondays-mowing-up-the-wrong-tree/
Sometimes it’s the smallest little verbal exchanges between couples that can leave you in stitches after hearing. The play by play conversations between the wife over at Wildcatter’s Wife and her hubs that she posted in Mowing Up The Wrong Tree is one of those moments. This one’s for all the ladies who’ve ever tried to use an appliance or tool that had no business touching! Hilarious!

Has one of your blog posts been featured on Fab Posts Fridays? Yes? That’s pretty awesome. So awesome in fact, that you do know it’s totally okay to pat yourself on the back a little right? Here’s a fun badge for your blog sidebar to help you do so!
