Pink decor ideas kitchen caulk and honeymoon horror

I read these posts this week and ADORED them for various reasons. Maybe you will too!

http://geekgirlwife.com/2011/04/05/confessions-of-a-non-mom/
Confessions of a Non-Mom over on Geek.Girl.Wife is one of the best rants on the subject I’ve read in a long time. This here “non-mom” gives it two thumbs up!

When I read I Almost Died On Our Honeymoon today I nearly spit out my iced coffee. The exact same thing that happened to this wife happened to The Man on a vacay we took to Mexico a while back. It’s a cautionary tale for all couples where ½ can’t swim and the other likes to. A must read!

The play by play dialogue on Untypically Jia that she shares in Update on Caulk that happened between her husband and his mother regarding, well, kitchen caulk, is the most hilarious and awkward thing I read all day. I commend her for her sense of humor and for sharing. Thanks Jia, I needed that laugh!

The “Fab Mom” over at Lip Gloss and Binky recently discovered that she’s an amazing amateur photographer and her pictures will make you want to get a manual for your own camera. You can find some of her best work so far in Photos and Cheerios.

In Pink! over on Our Little Beehive this wife has found some very cute ways to add a splash of color to her home. Very inspiring for those of us in the middle of makeovers. I read this blog regularly and if you’re into home décor you should too!

If you’re a blogger and you’re looking to keep your readers around you must read 8 Ways to Piss Readers Off and Lose Subscribers over on Logallot.

in I Should Have Kept My Mouth Shut my friend Paula over at Spousonomics shares with us what happens to your inbox when you write an article for The Wall Street Journal titled “The Secret to a Happy Marriage: Do the Dishes, Put Out, Don’t Talk So Much.” It gets ugly, lets just say that. I think her article was awesome and honest. Does it ruffle your feathers?

If you thought my name-changing drama was interesting wait until you read this wife’s story! I read her Ethiopian naming dilemma in Question: Is Our Cultural Heritage Worth $360 and thought to myself: I will never complain about the thought of having to change my name again! (Plus she needs your opinion. Vote on her poll!)
