Yes, we continue to devote our weekends and all our spare cash to our big living room redo. Here’s what you missed so far: We asked you what color we should paint it, then we painted the walls, moved some things around and ultimately took one corner from drab to fab almost overnight. This past weekend I rekindled my love affair with IKEA and got so inspired. We even managed to make it to Home Goods and back in one piece without spending all our money. So I’d say, so far so good.
Today I’m sharing how we spent almost eight total hours shopping and just under $100 on “the little details” and thing are already coming together so nicely. I found some awesome bamboo plates and potpourri balls at IKEA to complete the coffee table and two pieces of wall art from Home Goods that represent us wonderfully; plus help to frame the entertainment unit. Oh and I snagged that cork frame from Crate and Barrel that I’d been stalking, on sale too! (Score!)
Here’s a quick peek at the latest additions to our living room with lots more fun photos to come next week, promise…
